''Cuts for Luck and Scars for Freedom'' is the debut album by Mystic, released on June 19, 2001 through Good Vibe Recordings. Featuring a combination of R&B, hip hop and Soul, ''Cuts for Luck'' was met with positive reviews and helped Mystic receive a BET award nomination for Best Female Hip-Hop Artist. ''Kludge'' magazine ranked it at number seven on their list of best albums of 2001.
